I'm a Software Engineer from Pakistan. At work, I write backends in Go and Java, and build frontends with React and Next.js.

What I'm Focused On

Right now, I'm going deep on database internals and distributed systems.

Other Interests

I'm interested in compilers, Rust, Gleam, Nix, and theoretical CS stuff (computational and formal language theory), but I'm not actively working on these right now. My undergrad final year project was related to Quantum Computing.

Outside of code, I read quite a bit. My favorite book is "Name of the Wind".

I also learned Japanese in college just to read some books for fun.
